Golden Eagle Sablefish is the only farm in the world raising sablefish. As sablefish is a local fish to BC, it thrives in our ocean backyard thanks to its naturally evolved protection and adaptations to this environment. We raise our fish in partnership with the Kyuquot-Checleseht First Nations and everyday, we work together on raising healthy, happy fish. We are the only marine net pen farm in North America to be rated as a Green Best Choice by Seafood Watch, and we are recommended as a sustainable seafood by the Ocean Wise Seafood Program.
