    Chef Welbert Choi believes that food should bring people and families together, build communities, and be a flavourful part of gatherings and celebrations. He chooses his ingredients with respect, considers the environmental impact, and approaches food in a way that celebrates the whole ingredient. Born in Hong Kong and moving to Canada as a teenager, Chef Choi developed a passion for cooking and bringing people together through food from a young age. He trained at Dubrulle Culinary Institute, earning a double certification in culinary arts and pastry arts. His resume includes over 20 years of experience specializing in West Coast seafood and local cuisine in Vancouver, BC.
