Volunteer Sign Up
Thank you for your interest in registering to become a volunteer for the 2024 BC Seafood Festival! Please select your preferred volunteer role and dates/times from the schedule below. The Festival will contact you to confirm your participation and provide additional details.
Two to six 4-hour shifts or more preferred.
BC Seafood Festival Volunteer Opportunities:
Site Set-up, Maintenance and Take Down (June 18 – 24):
- Tent, table and chair set up – some heavy lifting will be required
- Recycling and garbage
- Move equipment and signage into place
- Takes down, load and move out
Admissions, Greeters and Hosts (June 21 – 23):
- Scanning tickets, ticket sales and sorting
- Welcoming, hosting and providing directions to attendees
- Runners
- Supporting the Ocean Wise Education Zone
Banquets, Chef and Event Floor Support (June 20 – 23):
- Set-up tabletop and small wares from one event to the next, resetting demo stage areas, and assisting Chefs with move in/move out needs
- Includes prepping, bussing, cleaning, dishwashing, and other chef needs during the events
Please Note: You must be 15 or older to volunteer.
Volunteers for the Festival will receive:
- If you sign up for 2 shifts, you will receive two tickets to attend one of the Festival MasterClasses (based on availability).
- If you sign up for 4 shifts, you will also receive two tickets to one After Party.
- If you sign up for 6 shifts, you will also receive two tickets to Clam it Up Happy Hour.
- Access to the Mountain’s volunteer lounge with snacks and non-alcoholic beverages hosted by Gordon Food Services, Mount Washington and the BC Seafood Festival.
