Seafood Market Pavilion
Back by popular demand, the BC Seafood Market Pavilion (formerly known as the Signature Weekend) will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the 2024 BC Seafood Festival where guests can enjoy pay-for-tastes of fresh BC Seafood and BC crafted beverages, plus experience educational Chef Demos, interactive stations, and seafood retail, not to mention live entertainment.
BONUS: If you already have a BC Seafood Festival event ticket (i.e. to a dinner, a MasterClass, a Happy Hour, a lunch, a breakfast, or an After Party) on for any event during the Festival (Friday-Sunday), you will automatically gain access to the Pavilion!
Each Pavilion or Festival event ticket purchase ALSO gives each guest a FREE SCENIC CHAIRLIFT RIDE ticket! This ticket will be emailed to you at a later date.
Please note: The chairlift ride ticket is being provided by a third party operator (Mount Washington Alpine Resort), is non-transferable, has no cash value, and is subject to operating & weather conditions.

BC Shellfish Growers Association – The BC Shellfish Growers Association has been the voice of shellfish farmers in BC for over 75 years. We are a non-profit association representing 70% of BC’s shellfish farmers as well as processors, industry suppliers, and service providers related to the industry. We are dedicated to the sustainable growth and prosperity of the BC shellfish industry through communication and advocacy. We stand behind maintaining and improving the integrity of the marine environment. We will be available to answer questions about the shellfish industry, have educational displays, and sell steamed mussels at our booth.
Shelter Point Distillery – Shelter Point Distillery will be showcasing their award winning single malt whiskies and hand crafted gin. Products available to sample will be our Classic Single Malt, Ripple Rock, Smoke Point, Evans Family Reserve Oloroso Finish and Saratoga Sands Gin.
Wayward Distillery – Wayward will have a selection of their honey-centric spirits including BC Craft Gin, Raspberry Gin Liqueur, Krupnik Spiced Honey Liqueur, Unruly Gin and possibly a seasonal release.
Young Salmon Farmers of BC – We will have some samples available of smoked salmon in pre packaged bags.
Interactive & Informational Booths and Displays
BC Crab Fisherman’s Association – Our booth will feature educational information about BC’s dungeness crab fishery and have tickets available for sale for our upcoming crab festivals in Victoria and Vancouver!
Desolation Dive Services Ltd. – Desolation Dive Services Ltd is an expanding dive contractor based out of Powell River servicing the sunshine coast, Vancouver Island and beyond. Our crew is fully certified and has experience ranging from shellfish aquaculture (including all sub-tidal management), salmon aquaculture, project planning and management, surveys and inspections, ROV (remote operated vehicle ) capabilities, search and recovery, salvage, cleanups, and the wild harvest of various sea foods.
Export Navigator – Export Navigator is a government funded program that supports small business exports.
MNP LLP – We will be showcasing MNP’s services with a focus on our seafood industry services. We will also share our industry knowledge that helps serve a variety of clients.
Ocean Wise – We will have various ocean artefacts, signage, and interactive pieces for guests to engage with. We will be able to bring banners and branded tablecloth(s), as well as informational materials. This booth will be focused on sustainable seafood, but may have members of our Whales, Seaforestation, and Plastics teams in support also providing materials relevant to their initiatives.
Young Salmon Farmers of BC – Young Professionals of Salmon Farming in B.C. is a diverse group of leaders representing virtually every aspect of BC’s salmon farming value chain. As biologists, veterinarians, engineers, environmental specialists, technicians, managers and divers we have representatives from all aspects of the industry.
Deep Search Diving LTD. – Deep Search Diving is a commercial dive and ROV company dedicated to servicing the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island marine industry. For the last 4 years Deep Search has provided services to the shellfish aquaculture industry including, Marine Habitat Assessments, Debris Inspections, Debris Removal Operations, Anchor inspections and Aquaculture farm maintenance and consulting. Deep Search will have a list of our services, photos and videos of debris removal projects, information on debris removal, recycling locations.
